Turnaround Time: 1-3 days | Cost: Starting at $45 (includes color correction & proofing)
The second option is studio quality art photography which holds the gold standard when considering high quality art printing. Art photography allows us to have full control over the output size and quality.
Turnaround Time: 3-5 days | Cost: Starting at $150
Fine Art Printing
Giclee is a process in which archival inks are inkjetted onto an archival paper. We use this process for our in house custom art printing. Our paper selections offer the best possible quality we can produce. Smooth matte heavy (hot press), Watercolor textured heavy (cold press), 19mil satin canvas, 10mil lustre.
Color Correction & Proofing
Proofing is a critical component to ensuring color accuracy and also expectations. Our goal is match as close as possible to hold the integrity of the original art piece. We have to be reasonable in our expectations, as we’re creating reproductions, not original artwork. Proofing also helps us understand when color correction is needed or if the artist prefers some enhancements we can apply and then proof as needed/requested.

PRINT METHOD INFO
What is Giclee?
The term “Giclee” (pronounced ghee-clay) in literal terms is a french word meaning “to spray” which refers to how inkjet printers make giclee prints. The typical process for creating these prints includes photographing original artworks using a high dpi camera, resulting in a 300dpi or better digital image. The resulting image is then color corrected for accuracy and produced using a 12 color inkjet printer with archival pigmented inks and in most cases using archival and certified medias such as hot and cold press papers or canvas.
What is Digital Printing?
Digital printing is a printing process that utilizes heat set 4 color (CMYK) dry ink to deliver high resolution printing on a variety of papers and substrates. Digital prints can provide a great value option for pieces up to 12×18 print size.
What is the difference between digital prints and giclee?
Each print technique provides a different product and value to the artists as well as consumers. Many artists choose digital printing for high volume non archival prints that provide a low price point to the end consumer. While digital printing is also used for greeting cards, stickers and other print products that can help add value to any art piece. Giclee is typical much more expensive however with the archival media and inks, the final product is generally a much higher quality print with much more accurate colors. These prints will stand the test of time and are safe to have in direct sunlight for many many years without any worry of fading or print damage. Giclee tends to provide maximum value for artists as well as consumers when selling prints in a range of sizes and quantities.
